Calling All Green Thumbs!

Calling All Green Thumbs!

With summer just around the corner the grounds of our lovely church are going to need more attention. Trinity prides itself in having well tended grounds that show how much we love our church.Your Buildings and Grounds Committee is looking to establish an “Adopt a Gardening Area” so we can spread the love of gardening amongst many. This will help make the activities of planting, weeding and general upkeep easy for everyone. Some areas of the church are well established and won’t take too much time to keep looking beautiful. Other areas, such as the area beside the patio will be starting from scratch, which for some of you might be a lot of fun! You’re not on your own–the B&G Committee members will be available to help with all of this as necessary. We have 6 major sections of the church grounds:1. Front of church (Nevada Street): Jean and Larry Hoy have already been keeping this area beautiful and would like to officially adopt it2. Patio: This area will be starting from scratch and should be ready for planting mid summer3. Front lawn and garden area along High Street4. Area adjacent to the stairs and sidewalk where the memorial garden is5. Office front door/entrance area6. Area along ramp/path leading to the “utility entrance” and back of church along High StreetPlease consider adopting an area of your church; you can contact your Jr. Warden,Barry Shurtz at bshurtz@me.com, and/or grounds@holytrinitynevadacity.orgThank you,B&G team
1 Corinthians 15:58Oh Lord, help every worker to work wholeheartedly for the church. Help them to remember that the work they do in the church is not in vain as Your Word declares that Your work is never wasted. I pray that they will always excel in the work for Your kingdom, doing their best and doing more than is needed. I pray that every worker within the church will be steadfast and immovable, working enthusiastically for You. Amen.
