We continue this coming Sunday, March 17th, the fifth session of 5.
This coming Sunday will be our final Forum for Lent. We will conclude our discussion of King Saul, and look at the power struggle between Saul and the young David, the latter’s eventual victory, and then jump ahead to his moral failing and confrontation by the prophet Nathan. It’s a lot to cover but we’ll do our best! Our discussion is informed by John Sanford’s book, “King Saul, the tragic Hero”.
For those reading the Biblical story, at a minimum read the following: 1 Samuel, chp 16-25, 28, 31, and 2 Samuel, chp 7, 11-12.
