Compline is the 7th and final short chanted prayer service of the Monastic and Convent Day, ours typically 25 minutes in length.
There is no sermon; no offering; little participation, abundant time for reflection, silence, and beautiful, timeless music and scripture to soothe the savage beast. There is nothing like this harmonized Compline in all of California.
Our usual 110 candle array is cut in half during Lent, returning again after Easter.
We’ll see you there, and bring a friend who needs some soothing hope.
Life is Short.
