Maundy Thursday commemorates the Washing of the Feet and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, as described in the canonical gospels. It is a reminder of Jesus’ command to “Love one another as I have loved you.”
This is the “foot-washing service” (which is optional for those who would be uncomfortable with their feet being washed).
After the service, the “Night Watch” is an opportunity to pray along with Jesus in His final hours before his arrest. There will be a sign-up list; you can email the office for details.
