Anne was raised attending Christ Episcopal Church in Alameda. She has been a member of Holy Trinity since 2004 and her daughter Sarah was raised coming to Holy Trinity. Within 2 months of starting to attend here, The former rector, Christopher Seal, had her serving as a lector and a chalice bearer. Her quick involvement in our church had many congregants wondering: “Who is this – we’ve never met her..?”
Anne previously served on the Vestry for one year. She also served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, is a thurifer on High Holy Days, reads regularly at Friday morning prayer, and sings in the Compline choir. She loves our church and all of the friends she has made here.
Anne has lived in this area for 41 years and continues to work as a massage therapist. She believes God led her to do this work and has been massaging for 47 years. She estimates that she’s given over 42,000 sessions. It continues to be a wonderful livelihood. Anne is interested in offering her perspective, curiosity, and care for Holy Trinity as she joins our Vestry.
