I was baptized in 1950 in Milwaukee, WI, where I attended St. Albert’s Catholic grade school. I have been moving West ever since. After two careers in education and one in software, I ended up in Nevada City in 2015. Holy Trinity appealed to me the moment I saw it. Church members greeted me warmly on my first visit, and I knew I had found my spiritual home. I have served the poor through our Feed the Hungry program, helped count the offering on Monday mornings. served as lector, and co-chaired the Sesquicentennial Committee. I have attended two Diocesan conventions, first as an alternate, then last year as a full delegate. In the coming year, I hope to steer our church through the inevitable disruption replacing the Nevada Street bridge will bring, ensure that we operate on a sound fiscal basis, and investigate how we may become better known in the wider Nevada City community.
